Recently discovered yet another unnecessary, but highly entertaining Tumblr: whiteboysinsalmonshorts.tumblr.com The bloggers’ (who are fabulously sarcastic might I add) mission is to “draw attention to and foster dialogue about the preponderance of white boys in salmon shorts.” Jackpot.
One problem: there has been a lackluster amount of submissions from us southern ladies and gents. How is this possible? The South is the motherland of pastel shorts and frattiness. We can’t afford being shown up by New Jersey, Connecticut, and…Minnesota?! Come on followers, tap some boys in salmon shorts!
Getting up for an 8am final is easier when you’ve got a nice distraction to rest your eyes on while headed there.
